PROJECT MANAGER
PROJECT ASSISTANT
MATERIAL RESOURCES COORDINATOR
Note : the employee will be called upon to carry out other related tasks in their field of expertise in order to meet the occasional needs of the company for all positions posted.
PROJECT ASSISTANT
Reporting to the project managers, he will support the manager and handle responsibilities such as document preparation, material orders, and other project management tasks.
- Produce purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers, carry out follow-ups and track change. Check timesheets to have all the information needed to produce payroll
- Prepare and document site binders, provide support in the development of various administrative documents such as project cost monitoring, reports, submissions, etc. Check timesheets to have all the information needed to produce payroll, assist project managers and management on a daily basis by ensuring the organization of calendars, tables, incoming emails and priorities related to projects.
Skills
In order to thrive in this position, you must have a few skills:
- Proficiency in software (Opera, AutoCAD, MS Suite).
- Excellent and effective communication
Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree or College degree in Project management, administration or equivalent.
- 4 years in construction field
- In-depth knowledge of glazing products and curtain walls.
Project Manager
The person will plan and organize project monitoring to meet deadlines and ensure quality execution. They will coordinate with designers, superintendents, production managers, installation teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate the project internally (Submission/execution)
- Plan and monitor the progress of the work (deadlines)
- Create, plan, supervise and edit project files
- Prepare budgets, purchase orders, subcontracting contracts
- Visit construction sites and develop contractual strategies
- Plan and order all on-site materials purchases
Skills
In order to thrive in this position, you must have a few skills :
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills
- Skills in reading and interpreting drawings and plans, ability to read plans
Prerequisites
- College Degree in Project Management / Business / Civil Engineering
- All other experience deemed adequate
- Experience as a Project Manager in the Construction field is a must
Material Resources Coordinator
The Material Resources Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the activities necessary to the implement the maintenance, mechanical equipment and property. Responsible for store management and merchandise handling:
- Prepare, cut and assemble aluminum frames
- Know how to read plans and cutting lists and carry out production expeditions,
- Check compliance of work according to industry standards and ensure product quality control
- Uses different equipment/tools to cut and bend aluminum (CNC, saw, forklift, etc.)
- Make sure to use the correct tools for assembly according to the technical and safety instructions
- Any other related tasks
Skills
In order to thrive in this position, you must have a few skills :
- Have good physical condition, be able to lift heavy loads, be meticulous, precise and have good manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a team, under pressure in a constantly changing environment
Prerequisites
- Diploma of professional studies – Installation and manufacturing of glass products
- All other experience deemed adequate
- Experience in the field of Glass required, skills in reading and interpreting drawings and plans, use of measuring tape
